Family Reunion

My eldest brother lives in Colorado, so its pretty rare when we actually get to see him and his family. Thankfully he comes to visit the area every couple of years. It was one of those years and we were so excited to get everyone together. It was a great time and we captured some pictures of all of us "kids" and all of the grandkids for my parents. They have 14 grandkids and another on the way. Amazing. Love my family!

It was really a spectacular time and I wish it happened more often. I really have the best family. 

Ryker is ONE!!

Just saying those words is unbelievable. I cannot believe that Ryker is already one. It feels just like yesterday that I was walking and walking trying to get him to come. The first year always goes by too fast, going from newborn baby to independent toddler.

Ryker is amazing. Funny, happy, always smiling, has a little personality that keeps up with his brothers and just all around fits right in. He is walking, trying to run. He laughs at his brothers and even antagonizes them. He is so smart and is learning so many things each day. He has a couple words; mama, dada, thank you and dog.  Of course I am probably the only one who understands him. 

He is a perfect little person in our family.

Outdoor fun

We really are always outside, so sometimes I forget to take photos because they do these things daily. So today I caught a few moments to share that are a regular occurrence here.

Ryker's Birthday Party

We celebrated Ryker's 1st birthday a week early with family and friends. We enjoyed just visiting everyone and sharing some chocolate ice-cream cake. Ryker was unsure of the cake at first, but once he had a few bites he LOVED it and even got 2nd's.
