Tree hunting.

We went to a new tree farm this year. It was great, we went on a weekday, it wasn't too busy and there were TONS of great trees to choose from. The boys enjoyed finding the perfect tree then heading to the barn to see the fun animals.

I really wanted to take Drezden's "4 year old" photos at the tree farm, but he refused. I did catch these gems.

Syler wanted his photo taken too.

Love all my boys.

Drezden is 4!

Everyone always tells you how fast time goes, but no matter how many times I hear it, it doesn't sink in until another year passes and one of my babies is a year older.
Today Dresden turns 4, I feel like just yesterday I was staring at him at the hospital, so thankful we were both healthy.
Drezden has brought me 4 years of giggles, happiness and huge amounts of joy. He never ceases  to amaze me, always proving to me that he is bigger and smarter then I realize.
I love watching his interaction with his little brothers and look forward to him spoiling his little sister. He has so much love to spread and it just shines through him.

This is what 4 years looks like.

How does that happen in just 4 years??

Happy 4th birthday my goofy boy!

We spent the day focused on him and all his wonders. He got to pick out his birthday present from the toy store and I made him chocolate cupcakes with chocolate frosting, his favorite.

We sang happy birthday once daddy got home.

Syler REALLY enjoyed the cupcakes. :)

Baby girl has a name...

We don't  usually pick a name for baby until after we see them. You would think after having 4 boys, choosing  girls name would be easy. Nope, I think it was the hardest thing we have done... LOL. After lots and lots and lots and lots of looking and trying and restarting we finally have a name for the sweet little girl growing away in my belly.

Katara Isalynn Stein
(Kuh-TAR-uh  Eye-sa-lynn)

Katara means Blessed, pure and heavenly, Wanting hope.
Isalynn means Beautiful lake.

We look forward to meeting her in about 10 weeks.

November

As the holidays get closer, my life gets a little full. :) Keeping up with our daily needs, homeschooling, household tasks, quality time with my children and then adding in all the projects I take on for Christmas presents, I find myself at a loss for any extra time to blog. So here is November in photos. (Even then we are lacking in photo taking this month)

The boys are becoming such big helpers, raking leaves is their specialty. Especially if you include jumping in raked piles.

Theres nothing like good old brother discussions at the window. Love these two. Such a connection they have developed. Syler loves his baby brother so much.

We did a retake of Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs in a more woodsy setting. It was getting dark, but we still got some good photos. These kids are just too cute.
