Snow Days!!

We finally got some snow this winter!! YAY!

It started off slow and we enjoyed it right away. You never know how long it is going to last around here.

By the end of the first day we had a good 5-6" and the boys begged for some late night snow play.

Day two started out dryer and we played a bunch with the dogs and took a family picture!

Getting ready for a family shot!
The dogs knew Paul had a handful of treats!

Practice shot without me

Family shot thanks to the throw of a snow glove to get all the dogs to look and a fabulous remote control for my camera. Great times!

Snow Angel making:

They loved eating the snow!

I just love all the snow!

Rykers first time IN the snow :)

By the end of the day we probably had about 8" It was crazy and we loved it.

Day three (today) started with snow just falling down like you would not believe, constant big white fluffy flakes. They would land on my coat and I could SEE the snowflake shapes with my bare eyes, it was amazing!!! We ended up with almost a foot of snow total. Pretty awesome! We just wish it would hang around.

Paul in his "fur" coat, he only gets to wear it when its really cold out.

And a just us picture because they are rare!

Someday we will live where there is more snow. We love it and it will be gone too fast!

  2. Really love Drezden's 3 year old pictures - he is such a good model and a such a super cutie! Also, Ryker's 1st pictures in the snow are adorable - guess he likes the snow too! Of course all the dog pictures are great! So happy you got a really nice big snowfall for the boys to really enjoy. The best picture ever though is the whole family picture! Great idea on how to get the dogs to look (I know how hard that can be!). Thanks so much for sharing your life and pictures! :)
