Zander has been really into learning how plants grow. So I asked him if he wanted to plan a garden for next year that would be all his to plan and would be called the "kid garden". His response was of course an ecstatic YES! Then he started going off on all the things he wanted to include in his garden. I knew then that I may have started something more then I intended, this is not going to be the hand him some seeds and let him plant. He will be planning this garden 100% and he wants to know his options!
So we started collecting seeds from the few plants still seeding around the yard. He is keeping notes on what plant it came from, what it looks like, and the leaf/petal/fruit pattern of the plant.
Here is just the beginning.
Searching for the available seed pods.

Fun times around here!!! Sorry for all the sideways pictures.
We then proceeded to ask family and friends to send us any seeds they wouldn't mind parting with. We look forward to see what we receive.
(If you have some and want to share, Zander would love them!)
