Easter

We had Easter at our house this year. It was great!!! Huge field for all the kids to Easter Egg hunt, beautiful day so we all had room to eat outside. I must admit I was a little worried how I was going to fit everyone inside. It was a great day with family.

Then after everyone left they decided it was a good day to go swimming. Personally I thought it was a little chilly but hey kids will be kids. 

Rock Climbing with Daddy

Zander and Drezden had their first Rock Climbing experience. I am pretty sure they both loved it, however the pictures make it seem like Drezden was not very enthused with the situation. 

The rock wall we went to is local and was awesome, they have a separate area up stairs just for kids! It includes this awesome bouldering wall that the kids can climb up UN-harnessed and come back down a slide. The boys thought it was pretty awesome.

Zander says " Daddy I am going to start here and climb the wall all the way to the ceiling"

They had a great time and want to go again. That wont take any twisting of Paul's arm at all! Paul is pretty excited the boys are into climbing, at least for now.

St. Patricks Day crafts

 My boys love crafts, so whenever we have an excuse to do something special I jump on it. So with St. Patrick's Day coming up We made some 4 leaf clovers with ripped up construction paper and glue. They loved ripping the paper and thought painting on the glue was pretty fun too.

Syler on the other hand thought it was pretty boring and took a little nap. This kid can nap almost anywhere, I am always impressed!

A Healthy Baby........

 BOY!!!!!!

The boys are pretty excited about their baby brother. We are all excited, how great to have 4 boys around to help me out! They may eat me out of house and home in 10-13 years from now, but they will have the best friendship brothers can have. I love my boys!  Zander however says that "next time mommy we need a baby sister" My heart ached for him just a little bit.

So will there be more you ask? Well yes there will, we plan on adopting a little girl in the future. When we dont know, when things work out I guess. We want to adopt a infant, preferably right out of the hospital. We plan on keeping it local, or at least in the states.  We want to have her close to the boys in age too, so I imagine about 2 ish years down the road, but what ever life throws at us we will take.

Drezdens 2 year photos

To say having 3 children keeps me busy is an understatement, then add on top of that 7 dogs(ok they are pretty easy), general house keeping and oh did I mention I have a side photography business and side sewing business? Yeah I like to be busy! With so much going on sometimes things get delayed a little, ok sometimes A LOT. So without further ado, Drezdens 2 year photos only 2.5 months late!

He has really been into farms and farm animals lately so I thought what better idea then to toss him into his carhart coveralls and go find an old farm fence. The fence was harder to find on our walk then I anticipated, but I found a few areas that worked out great.

Of course being two he had his own plans towards the end, the last photos was his crazy face, his point of telling me "I'm DONE" At least its a happy crazy! :)

Garden Starts

Its that time of year to start our garden plants indoors. We hope to have a large garden this year and get to share it with family and friends. The boys were pretty excited to plant some seeds and were a huge help!

We started Tamato's, Spinich, Kale and Sugar snap peas. We really didnt need to do the peas yet but the boys really wanted to plant their peas. So we did it anyway.

Just a few more weeks and these can go in the ground. So excited for our garden this year.
