Katara's 1st road trip.

With Paul having 3 weeks off of work and then leaving for Japan for 3 weeks, we knew we wanted to take a trip down to Eagle Point to visit with family before he had to go back to work. So to celebrate Katara being 2 weeks old, we headed out on our 6 turned into 7 hour road trip.

We took a trailer with us to pick up some tin that came down with a barn at Paul's aunts house. Hauling the trailer always adds a bit of time to the trip. We ended up heading out later then we anticipated and didn't role into Scott and Justine's place till something around 1:30 in the morning. You would think that would have been great... all the kids sleeping... WRONG, *note to self, tummy sleepers nap fine in the car but WILL NOT sleep well at night * They kept asking for their beds and Ryker just kept waking up crying. I knew it was because he was uncomfortable. So we put on some movies and they watched movies and were up super late..... We will be traveling during the day next time. Katara on the other hand, ate once and slept the rest of the time.

Ready to load up:

We happened to be down there for St. Patricks day, I just couldn't resist this sweet little outfit for her!

Amelia has the best smile ever..... however she didn't like my camera pointed at her so this is what I got. LOL

Daddy Snuggles

Katara's sleepy magic working on Scott

We took a trip to Lithia Park in Ashland with Justine and Theresa
. The boys loved it!

Watching ducks:

Sending sticks off one side of the bridge and watching the come out the other side

Made it to the top of a really big flight of stairs

Amelia really wanted to follow them, so Paul helped her out

So glad we got this photo, of all the year we have been hanging out, we have never gotten a group photo. New tradition, now required every time we are together. Family connections!

We also visited a park that Paul referred to as "Castle park" so I don't know what it is really called, but it has a big castle like play structure. We had a picnic lunch and enjoyed plenty of play time.

This is a photo of Syler who willingly went with Theresa to the car to get the lunches. I could not believe it!!

There was this awesome little creek that was perfect for the boys to play in.

We really enjoyed our trip and getting to spend some quality time with some family.

Little miss after we got home.
